Now that I’ve had the chance to thank them privately, I’d like to thank several people publicly.

I haven’t been on a basketball court in four years. Still, two weekends ago, I received an assignment bigger than any game I ever reffed on TV.

The opportunity to share a small part of my story during the Nothing But Net Series at Northview was more profound and meaningful than any basketball game I ever officiated.

It wasn’t just about delivering my story; it was about connecting, heart to heart, with a community ready to listen and share in the journey. This experience transcended the thrill of the court, offering a chance to touch lives in a way that the game of basketball, as much as I love it, never could.
